Theresa’s Sound World Music Blog Collection Accidentally stumbled across this band while checking out San Francisco's Free Paintings.(Ironically Battery Point is of one of my own albums & a lighthouse near me!) This band identify with the C86 Indie scene- they certainly have elements of that bit of alternative music history- jangly guitars, pounding bass & drums, finished with a poppy vocal style & sensibility. However, this band take those elements further, creating their own sonic identity which can only be described as C86 plus!!

drive me around in your car Escape the city with you Because there's nothing left to do It's all on purpose we're all bored Just waiting for something more windows down Street lights pass us by As our youth fades away Take me somewhere I've never been before Break routine let's get away Even if it's just for a day

Eternal 03:26
the unspoken truths The look in your eyes The distance between It doesn't change a thing when did it go wrong is the feeling still there the eternal despair I'll realize soon I can't love anyone but you I don't want to love anyone but you Why can't I see That you just won't come back to me I'm without you

Violet Dream 04:07
looking back Where we were a promise of forever for a love that wouldnt last hold me close as we drift apart Our shared glance pronounced the end Everything to emptiness You're still my favorite dream a fantasy of heaven a vibrant gleam among the stars nothing beats what we were nothing beats what was us would you be so kind break my heart just one more time You know I'm such a fool I'd do anything for you it's all the same feeling Cherished memories Fading away nothing to show for misused time I'll get right in another life Everything to emptiness You're still my favorite dream a fantasy of heaven above A vibrant gleam among the stars Nothing beats what we were Nothing beats what was us Nothing beats our teenage dream Would you be so kind Break my heart just one more time You know I'm such a fool and I'd do anything for you
